Life is not easy when you have curly hair.

No one can deny the fact that everyone hates their hair, especially if it’s curly. For those of you with straight manageable hair: please be thankful, because you have life so easy. Curly hair may be pretty and cute and all, but the only reason it looks cute is because someone woke up a few minutes early in the morning to make it that way.

  • If you have curly hair, you know the struggle of always running out of conditioner before you run out of shampoo.

  • Sad fact, it is possible to lose a bobby pin in the wilderness of your hair till next morning when you're in the shower.

  • People think it is OK to run their fingers through the curls. (By the way, that is not OK, because you totally just messed up those curls).

  • Not only do you use more conditioner than shampoo, but you also have to buy more conditioner to nourish the curls.

  • Those straight haired-people do not have to do their hair every single day (we hate you all).
  • One wrong move and your hair will get tangle in anything that is within its reach.

  • Sometimes you think you’re going to have a good hair day, but then humidity ruins your day and makes you look like a poodle.

  • It is almost like you have a fight to beat every morning because curls can be stubborn and do not do what you want them to.

  • You can’t have your hair too short, because if you did, it would just be an afro.
  • A girl with curly hair will always carry a hair tie, because you never know when your hair might start wilding.
  • Constantly having to buy styling products. It gets expensive!

  • Brushing your hair while it's dry is not an option.

  • You shed like a dog.
  • When you wake up, there is no way of controlling the craziness.

  • It takes hours to straighten your hair (so you never do it).

  • Sometimes you really just want to shave your hair off.

I guess some people could say that curly hair is a gift while some could say that it is hell. Curly hair is not fun. It is constant dealing with frizziness and knots. But after all the struggles, it is still beautiful and you have to embrace it. For those of you with straight hair: seriously, be thankful that your life is not filled with extra work and craziness.

Christmas Tree

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to focus on the Holiday Season. Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. So while we approach the greatest time of the year, let's watch the 15 best Christmas movies of all time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. Ever heard of “pain is temporary, but GPA is forever?” Pre-meds don’t just embody that motto; we live and breathe it. Here are 10 symptoms you’re down with the pre-med student syndrome.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
