Unfortunately, we've all been single at some point in our lifetime and lucky enough I'm in the spot as of right now. So hopefully some of you single girls out there can relate to these situations and struggles. No one wants to be the only single person in their friend group, however, it happens. The times you find yourself single while all of your friends are in relationships can be very much depressing and frustrating for yourself and for your friends. If you've ever been in this position, you"ll totally relate to the following situations:

1. Forced set ups or blind dating.

Just because you're single doesn't mean you're desperate. People need to understand that just because they know a guy doesn't mean you want to sit through an awkward meal with them and pretend to want to get to know them.

2. Always being the odd one out.

You're always the one that has to sit alone because everyone else is with a partner until you end up sitting next to some creepy one man who smells bad.

3. Witnessing awkward PDA.

I get it, you're so in love, but can't you take your hands off each other for a second? I mean we're in public, and no one wants to see you making out before class.

4. People say things like, "I promise, you'll meet someone when you least expect it."

For some odd reason, people in relationships forget that this quote is to make those single people to feel better about themselves. A little advice, we hate that quote.

5. You're always taking their picture for yet another Instagram post.

How many pictures does a couple need of each other? Let's be real, I doubt people are looking forward to all the cute pictures you have been posting non-stop.

6. Your wing woman/soul sister is no longer with you.

Well, guess it's time to have fun on your own time by yourself.

7. Seeing everyone in love makes you feel even more alone.

Not that you aren't happy for them, but when everyone close to you has a significant other it just emphasizes the fact that you don't. And that feeling sucks.

8. You're sick of hearing that right now isn't the time for you.

You've heard it once, you've heard it twice. Enough is enough.

9. You will always be the third, fifth, and seventh wheel.

No comment here.

10. You find yourself drowning in work just to distract yourself.

You find yourself drowning yourself in school work, work and extra work, in order to distract yourself from being alone and the thought of it.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
