The Struggle of Living The Veggie Life At Rollins

Being a vegetarian or vegan is hard enough already. But does Sodexo do enough to make it easier on those of us who don't eat the buffalo chicken salad?

There are a lot of things wrong with the vegan/vegetarian menu, but these are just a few key roadblocks.

1. The overall lack of variety

How many ways can one stuff a pepper?

2. The lack of vegetarian specials at the sandwich bar3. Limited selection on weekends

Pasta again?

4. People saying “Just make a salad!”

But why??? How many times can I eat lettuce for lunch and dinner before my body suffers the consequences?

5. Breakfast sandwiches

Even when they are served without meat, they still smell and taste like bacon.

6. To-go sandwiches and salads

7. Toppings on salads

8. No alternative for people who love egg dishes but not eggs.

9. Unhealthy meat alternatives

10. The lack of gluten-free vegetarian options.
