As a kid, I longed to dive into books. I would pick up anything. Any book that looked half interesting, I'd pick up to live inside for its length. The most amazing of those, was "The Shinning" by Stephen King.

I first read this book in 8th grade, amazed that something so dark, and sometimes scary, could be so amazing. I then set out to do the impossible. I tried to read everything Stephen King had ever written. Little did I know, that some of his books are the length of Webster's dictionary. But still, I press on.

I've accomplished an amazing feat today.

After watching "Gilmore Girls," I sought out a reading list with all of the books listed in the show. The checklist compiled everything I needed in a cute, yet functional booklet. So, when I found the "recommended reading list" given by Stephen King, I jumped at the idea.

It took me quite a bit of time to format, but I think I've managed to get the project to work out for the best.

I'm no graphic designer or expert in layout, but I've managed to design a logo for my "business" instagram, CoopReadsBooks, design the layout of the reading list, and successfully print out a copy of the list, as well as make it available to download in PDF form.

It's a compilation of a list of 102 books that Stephen King recommends to readers and future writers, as well as the books he has written. It involves every genre of book, from Peter Straub to his wife, Tabitha King. And a list like this can only be given out once, by a man who has written over 50 books in his career.

If anyone would like a copy of the reading list, please let me know. I'm very excited to share it with everyone. Also, be sure to share it and tag my instagram, as well as anyone who may also want a copy.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
