You're probably procrastinating as it is at this very second and you may have no clue whatsoever. So here's the good news—you're currently reading the words I've written...unless you've procrastinated that as well.

All jokes aside, procrastination is such a struggle that every young adult, let alone people face on a daily basis. Let's just say that you are given an assignment with three weeks notice. There's no chance that you are even thinking about starting because you have so much time, right? There you are, hours before the deadline panicking.

You're freaking out, you're stressed, you're tired, your hair is an absolute rats nest and you've been in bed doing nothing. Suddenly, you're regretting all the food you ate, the parties that you went to and all the other distractions that you put before your work. But don't worry because there's no better family to describe the whirlwind of emotions that procrastination puts us through, like the Kardashians...

Stage 1: You feel relaxed.

Stage: You pretend to have a game plan.

Stage 3: You forget your priorities.

Stage 4: You acknowledge the deadlines.

Stage 5: You choose to ignore.

Stage 6: You experience anxiety and regret.

Stage 7: You fear the time.

Stage 8: You have finally completed work but you've lost all the sleep you've ever imagined.

There’s no rush on homework and you can just lie in bed and Netflix to your heart’s content. To me that sounds like an ideally wonderful break, and totally stress-free.

Grey's Anatomy

Even Shonda Rhimes, winning creator and executive producer of the hit TV shows Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Scandal, How to Get Away with Murder, and The Catch agrees that relationships with fictional characters are real. In her book, The Year of Yes she states, "I have spent more time with Meredith and Christina then many of my actual friends...When you watched TV, even spending a full hour with Christina once a week, you were likely spending more time with her then you spent with most people in your life. That relationship was real."

Going to the gym and working out on a daily basis (with breaks once in awhile) has been a great way for me to feel good about myself. It is 100% more than just looking good. Especially after starting college and having the stress and anxiety of tests, assignments, and just figuring out my future, the gym at my school has definitely been a place of relief for me and I have numerous reasons of why everyone should push themselves to get to the gym when they can.
