As it is about to be summer, I think we can all agree that we are starting to procrastinate on things. It could be final papers, group projects, exams or portfolios worth 25 percent of your grade. You will ultimately go through the stages of procrastination and personally, The Big Bang Theory describes it all.

1. You and your friends find the best study room, only to complain about how much you actually have to do.

2. You realize how much you have to get done, and how little sleep you have gotten.

3. You stock up on snacks, because lets face it... you're gonna be here a while.

4. You ask your fellow classmates for help.

5. You realize you have actually forgotten everything you learned all semester.

6. You start to question everything.

7. How about a power nap?

8. You realize your assignment is due in four hours.

9. You proceed to stay up all night finishing the assignment.

10. Leaving your previous location and seeing all the other students still sitting there.

11. Celebrate.

Here are some examples of those times where you had my back and I forgot to pat your back for saving me:

As people ages 18-22, we’re just trying to figure out what we’re doing with our lives, our careers, our eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and other necessities for adult life. We definitely don’t take proper care of ourselves; it’s basically impossible when we have essays, tests and readings due and somehow we’re supposed to eat right, exercise and sleep. We’re doomed to get sick. I have zero experience in science but when I get sick there are certain things I do to make myself better.

Now that it seems “talking” is the new way to date, and will stay that way until another idiotic term is used to describe the people who can’t settle down and just date someone, I feel as if it’s time to go over the unwritten rules of “talking.”

Rule 1. Having feeling without feeling.
