The stages of loneliness

Shh. don't stress out, because everything is ok.

Go to sleep. Tomorrow it's a brand new day.

Live to the fullest and follow the sky that is shining,

And notice the flowers that are smiling.


You wake up.

The sky is filled with a blanket of clouds.

And no one can hear you in the crowds.

The only glimpse of the light can be found online

But no one cares if you're fine.


Oh curse the upperdog who had fame,

They only knew me with someone who had a name.

God must smite the friends who were unholy,

For they used and broke my heart really slowly.


Oh, life! oh, dear life! Why so much pain?

Why must I go forward when there's nothing left to gain.

Let me free up space from this room,

Since no one will care or worry if I'm in my tomb.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here. Around the town, there are some just some landmarks and places that only the people of Hauppauge will ever understand the importance or even the annoyance of.
