Winter is a season that people tend to have a lot of love and hate for. Here are the 5 stages of grief in winter.
1. Denial
You just don't want to accept that winter is here. You still wear shorts, refusing to put on pants. You are in full denial.
2. Anger
You get angry over the fact that it the temperature is falling, and so is your mood. You live in Minnesota, and the first snowfall makes you angry. You just want the sun back. You switch cold drinks with a cold instead.
3. You try to bargain with yourself.
You think to yourself if it were to change to summer right this second you would never complain about the heat again. You think that maybe changing the thermostat in your house to 80 degrees would help. But it didn't.
4. Sadness.
You cry a little on the inside anytime you hear someone say they love snow.
5. Acceptance.
After all, winter isn't all that terrible. Snow is fun. You can hit people with snowballs. Go sledding. Bundle up, and go out and enjoy the snow!
