Getting a new piercing is always an experience, speaking from personal experience. This fall, I decided to get a helix piercing- the only other piercing I have besides my lobes.
There is so much going through your head before, during, and after. Here are the stages of getting a new piercing, broken down!

11. Is this going to hurt?
12. Maybe I shouldn't do this.
13. No, I WANT TO DO THIS. I AM GOING TO DO THIS.
14. My ___ is so plain. Time to spice it up.

16. OMG, that's a needle.
