If you're like me, you experience a roller coaster of emotions when you're invited to an event that you need to get dressed up for. Some of them are great...others not so much--because saying 'yes to the dress' isn't always easy.

1.  The excited stage

2.  The ‘Uh-oh I have nothing to wear stage”

3. The “I need to go shopping but I have no time” stage

4. The “I’m finally shopping but I can’t find a dress” stage

5. The laughing/crying in the fitting room stage

6. The “this one is too tight but maybe it will look better with spanx?” stage

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here. Around the town, there are some just some landmarks and places that only the people of Hauppauge will ever understand the importance or even the annoyance of.
