Vacations are fun, but the stages of it can be pretty exhausting for everyone. Even with the relaxation and fun that come with them, there is also the preparation and stress that comes with traveling. However, everyone has to go through these stages when going on vacations, whether it be a simple road trip or an exotic destination.

1. Packing

This is probably the most boring part of the vacation process, but it is one of the most important. It also builds up the excitement for when you actually leave for your trip.

2. Rushing to the airport

Unless you want to go on a road trip, you will probably want to get through the airport as fast as possible. Even though the airport is probably one of the worst places on Earth, instead of avoiding them you need to get through them in order to actually enjoy your vacation.

3. Trying to beat traffic

This part coincides with #2 on this list. Traffic is also one of the worst things on the planet, and everyone gets stuck in it eventually. No matter what situation you're in, traffic is always inevitable.

4. Finally getting to your destination

The joy of getting off of the airplane or getting out of the car is an accomplishment in itself. But when you finally reach your destination, you feel like Rocky running up the Philadelphia Art Museum steps.

5. Having a little too much "fun"

It happens to almost everyone. So, have "fun", but be prepared for an unpleasant morning the next day.

6. Trying to find good restaurants while trying to be on a budget

Trying to be on a budget while on vacation is like not procrastinating during finals week. The best thing to do if you're on a budget while on vacation is to try to find inexpensive restaurants or eating leftovers. But it is more likely that afterwards, you'll have a deep hole in your wallet.

7. Wanting to do more things that you don't have time for

You always want more time for relaxation, but unfortunately we all have to come back to reality at some point.

8. Nearly missing your flight back home

And going back to reality also means going back to an airport. And having to deal with it's horribleness.

9. Getting stuck in even more traffic

It also means dealing with this again. Ugh.

10. Getting post-vacation sadness

Eventually, you'll get back home and wish you were still on vacation. But unfortunately that is not the case, and you have to go back to your normal, mudane schedule.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
