Well, in the REAL Harry Potter world, Snape probably wouldn’t have a playlist or his playlist would be full of classical music because he has no tolerance for stupidity. Not that I am saying all pop music is stupid but Snape probably thinks that. To say that this is Snape’s playlist is probably inaccurate. This is more like the songs that describe his whole life in a chronological order.

1. "U can’t Touch This"

Snape had a rough childhood. His mother was hated by his father because she was a witch. His father would constantly beat them both up and the only thing his mother cared about was to mourn her lost love. On top of that, Snape’s family had no money. So you can imagine, growing up in a home life like that, Snape can appear to be overly protective of himself.

"An angel of mine"

His misery ended, well, sort of ended when he met Lily Evans (for those of you who didn’t read or watch Harry Potter, that is Harry’s mother. Although I don’t really know why you are reading this article because you really don’t know about Harry Potter), the neighbor girl who also had magical powers just like him. But also, not like him, because she had a totally different personality. She was like a ray of sunshine in his dull, gray life. She was indeed, Snape’s angel.

"Falling in love with you"

Who wouldn’t fall in love with the angel? Lily represented everything he never had. Lily represented total light, and Snape was total darkness. She was a Gryffindor, he was a Slytherin. Despite their house feud, he fell in love with her anyway. He couldn’t help himself.

"Loser"

Lily’s admirer, her fellow Gryffindor, James Potter (Harry Potter’s father, if you haven’t figured this out by the name), a Quidditch star, was Snape’s arch rival. I mean, they did not get along from the very start. Potter insulted Snape in any way possible and Snape always came up with a payback. James and his three friends bullied Snape, and Snape wasn’t exactly popular in Slytherin either. And finally, Lily and Snape had a huge falling out because he was really into the dark arts and she was all about light. I mean, he probably felt like a loser at that point in his life, he lost Lily, he hurt Lily.

"Damn I wish I was your lover"

Eventually, Lily started dating James. They got married right after graduating Hogwarts. In the meantime, Snape joined Death Eaters and grew further and further away from Lily. He wanted the power the Dark Lord could give him. And he was probably secretly hoping that Lily would be with him when she found out that he was better than James Potter.

"Losing my religion"

After He Who Cannot Be named killed Lily and James, he lost all in his life. he questioned Voldemort, his pursuit of power, everything he ever dreamed of.

"How do I live"

Indeed, he did not know how to live in a world like that. He struggled and struggled until he found another purpose, which is protecting Lily’s son, Harry.

"I do it for you"

Harry Potter turned out to look exactly like James Potter. And Snape hated James. Imagine how he would feel when the child of the person he loved the most turned into the person he hated the most. But he kept his promise and kept protecting Harry while being really mean to him.

"Barely Breathing"

Until the end of his life, he is bitten by Voldemort’s pet snake on the neck. He saw Harry and he told Harry to look at him because he has his mother’s eyes.

"I’ll Always Love You"

From the tip of his wand burst the silver doe patronus. She landed on Dumbledore's office floor, bounded once across the room, and soared out of the window. Dumbledore watched her fly away, and as her silvery glow faded, he turned back to Snape, and his eyes were full of tears.

“After all this time?”

“Always,” said Snape.

This article is going to end here because I am going to go cry.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
