Time is neither still, nor patient.

Everything happens quickly… very quickly. Everything is in constant motion not allowing us to go back. Every second used is either wasted or is a moment well spent.

In the moment, we don’t realize these things are happening so instantly. We don’t notice the moments in life are a one time thing.

In the fourth grade my teacher said that your whole lifetime is equivalent to the snap of a finger. Do not take any of that time for granted. We don’t notice it while it is going on, but once the snap is finished we realize.

There is no pause button in life, which we have a tendency to forget.

We forget that we cannot just stop things. Once this is comprehended it becomes simpler yet more important. For me, the realization came sooner and made me appreciate the time I have still. Being aware of time is a very strange thought and feeling.

You know the future is coming, but the things happening right now are just gone. I don’t believe in the present. As soon as a thing happens it’s done. There is no specific present.
