The Sky

The sky is one of the coolest things out there. Don't argue me on this.

The Sky

With all of the negativity going on pretty much on any media site you visit, I thought you may need some happiness. So I decided to not talk about something super serious or inspirational this week and talk about the sky and why I love it.

Why do I love the sky so much? There's just something about it that amazes me. Let me tell you, I could sit outside and look at the sky for hours upon hours. Why though? Let's break it down.

First off, simply the color of it. The sky can be literally any color you can think of. Grey. You ever seen the sky when it's snowing? Orange. Go outside and look at that sunset tonight. Blue. Obviously this ones a given. I mean, c'mon now. Green. If you've never been outside after a big storm, I advise you start doing so. Purple, pink blue, yellow- needless to say, the sky can range from a big hunk of cotton candy to a yummy bowl of sherbet.

Second, the concept of it. Have you ever really stopped and thought about how we even get to view the sky on a day to day basis? When looking up at the sky, we are looking at a small glimpse of space. Isn't that awesome? As humans, we are tiny compared to Earth which is even more tiny compared to everything surrounding it. People across the world are looking at the same sky we are.

Tres, the accessories. Stars, clouds, the sun, the moon- these are small little accessories that make looking up at the sky all the worth while. I mean, sure- looking up at just colors would be awesome too, but how do you think they got there? The pretty grey sky- came from clouds. The golden orange- that came from an awesome sunset. If we didn't have these accessories in the sky, would there really even be anything to look at other than just black? Even the stars- they're so small from our POV, but have you ever tried counting how many there are? You can't. There's so many which is so amazing.

All in all, the sky is a pretty cool thing to look at. God sure did a pretty dang good job when he created all of this stuff.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
