*No spoilers just a summary and my thoughts on the show so far*

I just finished binging 'The Sinner' on Netflix. Now before everyone freaks out, there are only eight episodes in season one and the episodes are about 40ish minutes long (Netflix doesn't have season 2, yet.) Rumor has it that Hulu has season 2 but I'd have to pay for the HBO channel or whatever channel it's on to watch it and I ain't gonna do that sadly. So I'm here to just reflect and enjoy season 1 in all of its' glory. 'The Sinner' is a rare murder mystery show that just ties you in with its plot and characters. In the first episode, there's a husband, a wife, and their son when all of a sudden the mom goes psycho and stabs a random stranger on the beach for playing loud music. This was witnessed by everyone on the beach, leaving her absolutely no question as to whether she's guilty. Remember the whole, "you're innocent until proven guilty" thing? Yeah, she's just guilty and everyone blames her for murdering this stranger. This show should be an open and then immediately shut kind of case but everyone wants to know the reason why she did what she did.

Detective Ambrose who is played by Bill Pullman is a very strange character. He's trying to fix his marriage with his wife but is having an affair with someone else. He becomes obsessed with this case because Cora (the murderer and mother who stabbed a stranger) doesn't want to fight trial. She just wants to remain guilty, go to jail and live out her life. But why? Why doesn't she want to fight the system over this? Does she not want to fight for her marriage? What about her son? There were so many questions that needed to be answered in season 1 and it's like having a spider in your brain. You want to know how everything works out and how the story ends.

Another reason I think I loved this show so much is that Jessia Biel is in it too (she's Justin Timberlake's' wife!) But that's pretty much all I can say about this show without giving away its awesomeness. I 10/10 recommend and if you have Netflix, you should definitely go watch it!

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

You're away from home and your mom who can take care of you and all you really want to do is just be in your own bed. Being sick in college is really tough and definitely not a fun experience. Here are the 15 stages that everyone ends up going through when they are sick at college.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
