Zodiac Signs As Disney Channel Original Movies

During winter break, I started to think about things I used to love from my childhood. Particularly, Disney Channel Original Movies. These cinematic masterpieces presented a variety of eclectic situations, from real-life mermaids and witches to space teens. Naturally, I decided that I should make a list of the signs as Disney Channel Original Movies. Enjoy!

1. Aries: Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century (1999)

This saucy film embodies the fiery spirit of an Aries. How could you not love a film that has so many neon outfits?

2. Taurus: Eddie’s Million Dollar Cook-Off (2003)

This action packed movie is filled with food, which is almost always a Taurus trademark. Plus, the main character loves to watch Bobby Flay and honestly, that is very relevant.

3. Gemini: Go Figure (2005)

Like a Gemini, the main character has two sides to her: she likes figure skating and hockey. This feel-good movie explores how multi-faceted people are.

4. Cancer: Tiger Cruise (2004)

I mostly chose this for Cancer because I used to cry every time I saw it. In general, though, this movie is wrought with complex emotions and that is perfect for a Cancer.

5. Leo: Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior (2006)

Leos are stereotyped as self-centered signs, but in actuality, most are very generous people. Wendy Wu shows this, with a girl who is, at first, conceited and shallow, but then later becomes extremely heroic and generous.

6. Virgo: Cadet Kelly (2002)

This movie capture a free-spirited girl being shipped off to military school because her stepfather is in charge of it. Just like Virgos are typically described, her stepfather demands neatness and order, and Kelly learns to integrate her creativity in the highly structured environment her stepfather creates.

7. Libra: Jump In (2007)

Libras are usually portrayed as people who grapple with indecision. Izzy, a boxer, is similar to this when he loves jump roping, but won’t commit.

8. Scorpio: The Cheetah Girls (2003)

This movie, just like all Scorpios, is a wild and saucy ride.

9. Sagittarius: The Even Stevens Movie (2003)

Sagittarius is often described as the flighty sign and Louis Stevens is the ultimate flighty, but absolutely lovable, character.

10. Capricorn: Get a Clue (2002)

Lexy Gold, a wealthy high school student, undertakes an investigation of a theft. Just like most Capicorns, she is very ambitious and perseverant.

11. Aquarius: Mom’s Got a Date with a Vampire (2000)

Aquarians are usually characterized as the most logical of the signs. Like Aquarians, the main character’s siblings do not believe their mom is dating a vampire, but once he convinces them, they immediately try to help.

12. Pisces: The Thirteenth Year (1999)

Pisces is depicted as a fish and this movie is all about merpeople. The perfect movie for a prominently water sign!

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
