To the senior who doesn't have a job after graduation,
I know that this is probably the biggest thing to be stressing about as graduation is approaching. Take this time to figure out yourself and what you really want to do in life. Sometimes, you still don't even really know what you want to do after graduation and that's okay too. It's okay to not have life figured out after graduation. You still have time to figure everything out, there is no rush or time limit on figuring out what you want to do with your life.
Take time after graduation to travel and appreciate your last taste of freedom. Go travel abroad to a place you have always wanted to see with your best friends or your family. Or, spend time with your friends and your family and cherish the moments with them before you do find a job and are swamped with work for the rest of your life.
You will never be freer than you are in this moment right now. College has been the best four years of your life, so take the time while you can, while you are job-less and living care-free, and enjoy your time doing whatever you want to do. This is the time where you get to choose what you want to do with your life and how you want to live it, so choose wisely and don't forget to appreciate your family and friends along the way.
So what if you don't have a job lined up right after graduation. That does not mean that you aren't going to land your dream job in the near future. Sometimes good things take time and it's okay to take your time trying to figure out what job is best for you. Move home, travel, do whatever it is that you won't be able to do once the real world grabs ahold of you and you are left with minimal free time.
So to the senior who doesn't have a job lined up after graduation, it's okay to not have life figured out yet. We are still so young and still have time to figure out what we want to do and where we want to be. Take this time to appreciate yourself and the people around you and live in the moment. Time is precious and we only have so much free-time on our hands left.
