You've made it through almost everything. The key word is almost. After months of hard work, late night study sessions, and early morning lectures, you're rewarded with a winter siesta. But after a few short weeks in paradise (on your living room couch) it's back to reality. Everyone says that the second semester goes by so much faster, but how come no one ever mentions the second-semester slump?

Here are 8 things we all feel during the second semester expressed it by the cast of "Friends:"

1. Getting slammed by several exams in one week.

2. Professors making jokes at your expense.

3. Counting down the days until summer.

4. The night before finals week.

5. Congratulating yourself for every little accomplishment.

6. Shredding all of your assignments when the semester FINALLY ends.

7. Learning to love the L's you're taking.

8. Setting new types of goals

If you feel like you can relate to any of these GIFs, you're totally not alone. Every college student goes through the second-semester slump— you've just got to learn how to fight through it.

Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!
