Well, it's that time of year again and finals are finally done! I am so excited to announce that the Fall 2016 semester is over and Christmas break is here. Five finals, three papers, and a presentation and now I am finally free! It is time for everyone to finally relax and chill out for the first time in a couple of weeks. This has been a very stressful semester for a lot of students, and I believe that there have been a few cases of stress-induced symptoms because of these finals.

For this winter break, I am really excited to say that I am going to the Cayman Islands for New Year's and will be celebrating the new year in the Caribbean. I have never been there before so I am really excited. I love traveling, especially to places I've never been before, so this will be an amazing experience. I have been looking at the place we are going and it is said to be one of the greatest places in the Caribbean.

For Christmas, my family will be hosting our extended family from out of town, state, and country at my parents' place in Detroit. It is really great seeing family that you haven't talked to in a while and feels good to finally see them. This time of year is great for a few reasons: we get to see family, finals aren't a thing anymore, and it's time to kick back and relax. So many students think about finishing their last final and that giant sigh of relief meaning, "I can finally get some sleep." I am glad because I can finally sleep myself.

This semester has been great in so many ways, but I am glad that it's over. Being single and having fun by just going out and having fun and not worrying what other people have to say is great. No one can tell you what to do, say, or who to talk to. I do believe that this semester has been an eye opening experience because of trying new things, getting close with my fraternity brothers, and building new relationships with many people. One of the reasons why I love being a Communication major is because of how easily I can meet someone or just spark a conversation with someone that I don't know that well.

This semester has had its ups and most definitely had its downs, but on the bright side my semester is ending with a bang. I finished finals and I'm on the home stretch to Christmas and the Caribbean. I am so glad that I can finally relax and be able to breathe from this stressful semester being over. I can't wait to be sitting on a beach drinking some great drinks while peering out on some white caps. Have a safe break, everybody. I can't wait to see you after break!

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
