This is a documentary that is an actual game changer when you are open-minded to the ideas it presents. Myself and many others have felt the effects of it in full force.

2018. A rough year, as I've heard. Tragedy, negativity, loss, battles fought undeserved. This year more than others, it seems, was an especially hard one. But why is that? Why does it seem like life is out to get you like you repel any and all good energy? Over the course of this year, I saw hope slowly drain from people's eyes. However, as Rhonda Byrne says best in The Secret's book version, "There is no such thing as a hopeless situation. Every single circumstance of your life can change!"The Secret explains how you have the power to change your own circumstances. You have the power to make your thoughts your reality. This documentary and book explain the one and only secret to living your happiest and most successful life: the law of attraction.

The Documentary is based solely on the ideas of the Law of attraction. It is "the belief that by focusing on positive or negative thoughts, people can bring positive or negative experiences into their lives." Cool. So what? Sooo, people live by this law and have received endless benefit from accepting the law. The documentary highlights a variety of authors, philosophers, and scientists who have felt the effects of the law. They have lived a happy and successful life, and they credit it to this law.

And all I can do is say, SAME GIRL. I watched The Secret back in 2017 and have done what it encourages its viewers to do. I aim to only put positive energy into the universe to receive only positive energy back. The documentary and book emphasize the importance of maintaining a positive mindset with positive thoughts. Byrne says, "Remember that your thoughts are the primary cause of everything." Since 2017, I have worked to maintain pure, strong, and positive energy to attract good from the universe. The Secret reminds viewers that it is your mindset and thoughts that create the outcomes you receive. This has made me the odd-one-out of the crowd. 2018 was the best year of my life, and I credit it to the law of attraction. I attracted opportunities, friendships, and resources that I would not have attained if my mindset had repelled such things.

Okay, this all sounds good and dandy, but how do thoughts become a reality? It's through your actions. According to The Secret, youmust act as if you are already receiving what you wish to receive. The quote below explains it well.

In 2019, attempt to make it a priority to keep positive thoughts, follow through with meaningful action, and believe that you will receive positive energy back. With an open mind, it's benefitted me and so many others. So why not you?

All in all, I'm not here to summarize the documentary, but only to encourage you to watch it. Read the book, or watch it on Netflix. It will give you the willpower and realization that it is possible to rearrange your life into something you want it to be. It works for so many, and in a new era where negativity tends to reign supreme, it is vital for us to learn how to attain positive things and maintain positive thoughts. Do something good for yourself this new year! Sit back, watch Netflix, and learn the art of the Law of attraction.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

While this question trend can get annoying, there are a couple of pros to having RBF.

Yify

Another day, another Elle Woods comment. Can’t us blondes get through the day without someone harping at us over the typical stereotypes about who we are? I never understood why a person was judged based upon the hair color they were born with, or the hair color they choose to have (unless you dye your hair blue like Kylie Jenner, I’m still trying to understand why that’s a trend). Nevertheless, as it should be assumed, not everyone is the same. Not all blondes like bright colors and Lilly Pulitzer, and not all blondes claim to identify with Marilyn Monroe. I think the best suggestion to give to people before they make such radical claims is to stop judging a book by its cover. Or in this case, stop judging a blonde by her hair color.
