Hello gorgeous,

I started the letter that way because in case you haven't heard it today you are beautiful inside and out. And if you don't think so, then I'm gonna argue with you. So just accept that fact and move on.

Sweet girl, you are so loved. Yes you, sitting there on your phone with no makeup on and wearing sweatpants. Or maybe you're wearing full makeup and avoiding homework so you clicked on this article. Thanks by the way. I hope to make it worth your while. I just want to encourage you for a few minutes and let you know that you, yes you darling girl, are someone's answered prayer.

While you might be out there looking for Mr. Right, I want to encourage you to stop looking. As hard as it might be to not be on the look all the time, your Heavenly Father has a plan, that I promise you. You may have never had a boyfriend before or you had your heart broken so badly by a boy you thought was 'the one' (I've been there. You will be ok. You will love again.) but going out looking for a guy is not the solution to your loneliness. Giving control of that situation to God is the best thing you can do. When you let the Lord have control and stop looking for what you want and wait on His timing, the result is better than anything you could have imagined.

I feel like the Lord is always teaching me ways to be more patient so I learn to fully rely on his timing rather than my own. I tend to rush into things and not take my time because I hate waiting. I've learned the hard way that his timing is perfect. No matter how hard it is to wait, the reward for patience is well worth the wait. If you are in a season of waiting for anything, specially the man God has for you, you are in good company.

While you are waiting, my dear sweet sister do not blame yourself or think you or not good enough to have a boyfriend. You are enough, I promise. It is unbelievable how enough you are. You do not need a relationship to define you, for Christ has already told you everything you are in Christ. You are chosen. Set your standards high, for you are royalty, the daughter of the King of Kings. Let the man come to you while you continue to chase after God.

Enjoy this season of waiting and singleness. It will be of much benefit to you in the days to come. When the man God has intended for you comes along, he will be ready for you and most importantly, you will be ready for him.

Everyone who is in college right now, or has ever been, knows the struggle of pulling in the strings at the last second. It seems impossible, and you have to do a LOT of things in order to assure your future for the next semester.

April Ludgate, historically, is a very annoyed person, and she doesn't hide it. Of all the times that I binged and re-binged "Parks and Rec," her attitude relates more and more to me.

To The Cheerful Person On Their Rainy Days, You Are Valid

The world is not always sunshine and rainbows, and you do not have to be, either.

Ask friends of mine to name a quality about me, and one a lot them will point out the fact that I am almost always smiling. I like to laugh and smile -- not to quote Buddy the Elf in April, but smiling is my favorite! It is probably my favorite go-to expression. However, what a lot of people do not see is that I have my down days. I have days when smiling and laughing is a real struggle, or when I have so much on my plate that going out of my way to behappy takes more effort than I have stored in me. Be it a symptom of college and growing up or a facet of life, I cannot always be content.
