The Scandal Cast Is Here To Describe What A Typical Week Feels Like

Do you really have your week "handled" like Olivia Pope does?

We all have our favorite day of week. Our reasons for why a certain day of the week is our favorite of course varies. Maybe it is because you have time to relax on that day and do your favorite activities. Then we all have at least one day of the week that we dislike. It may be because it is your longest day of the week. Regardless of these differences, we generally tend to feel the same way about each day of the week. With the help of the Scandal cast, I'm going to describe each day of the week!

Monday

Cyrus Beene throwing this mug at the wall and breaking it pretty much describes Mondays. Mondays always feel like such a long day and you can't even say it's almost the weekend because it's not. It's only the beginning of the week. You have four more days to get through. Waking up on Monday mornings is always the worst especially if you had a busy weekend. Your bed feels warmer than usual and it is so hard to get up and start your day, unless you get enough sleep and if you do, bless your soul.

Tuesday

It's Tuesday. You're still trying to figure out what is going on this week. Realizing there's things that are almost due and you haven't start. Tuesday is that day where you sit down and try to get your stuff together.

Wednesday

It's the middle of a long week and you're ready to call it quits. As much as you would love to be Olivia Pope and demand this week be shut down, you can't. It's okay though, you can get through the rest of this week! Just make sure you practice self care so you can become sane again. You got through the first half of the week so you can get through the rest.

Thursday

I know we've all been here before. It's Thursday and you confuse it for Friday. You figure out it's not Friday just yet and you got your hopes up for nothing. You still have one more day to go until your weekend finally begins. On a side note though: Scandal comes on Thursday nights on ABC, so that makes the day a bit better!

Friday

That moment when you step out of your last class of the day or when you clock out of work is when your weekend officially begins! Tipsy Mellie describes Friday perfectly. You've been waiting all week for this well deserved time to have some fun!

Saturday

The party never stops! Here's to being able to sleep in if you're lucky and being able to actually make plans with people. Saturdays always feel great if they are a day well spent because at least you feel like you enjoyed your weekend to some extent and didn't waste your time.

Sunday

Sunday is like the "Smelly Mellie" phase of the week. During season 4 of Scandal, Mellie was going through some things (don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't watched it) and she walked around in practically the same comfy clothes all day every day. Sundays are just like that. This is the day of the week that is meant for staying home and relaxing right before the next week begins.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. Ever heard of “pain is temporary, but GPA is forever?” Pre-meds don’t just embody that motto; we live and breathe it. Here are 10 symptoms you’re down with the pre-med student syndrome.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.

One Book Made Me Question Existence In Its Entirety

"The Stranger" by Albert Campus touches upon many heavy elements... but not in the way you expect. Although it touches upon the aspects of death and love, it also deals with a hidden philosophy similar to that of nihilism.

The story follows the short life events of Meursault, a Frenchman whose carelessness for his actions eventually ends him in jail and dependent on a jury of people to judge the ethicality of his decision and the punishment that he deserves. He eventually gets the death penalty and all throughout he is nonchalant and almost apathetic towards his situation. He finally snaps when the prison sends a priest to him to absolve him of his sins and to cajole him in confessing to the lord.
