Precursor before I begin my rant of the wondrous affair that took place last Saturday: I am absolutely fascinated with the Royal Family. I love learning more and more about their past and was over the moon when I heard Prince Harry was going to marry Meghan Markle. Nobody even has to ask, of course, I woke up at six o’clock to watch this all happen.

On Saturday, March 19, 2018, at approximately one o’clock in the afternoon, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle exchanged wedding vows and became the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. This marriage symbolizes progress among the monarchy, a British Prince marrying an American! The whole wedding start to finish was amazing and here is why:

1. Back to the basics: The Venue

The lovely couple was married at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor, England. I think most people think of how they would want their wedding decorated with flowers or candles, whichever they like. However, this chapel takes the cake! (Which I am willing to bet was also delish!) The chapel was covered with beautiful white flowers. Very posh, very royal.

2. The Dress

Since the wedding, I have noticed some critiques about Meghan’s wedding gown. Although yes, it is very simple, it was also a stunning dress. Simple does not mean bad! The dress itself looked amazing on her, especially with boat neck.

We cannot disregard the veil and of course tiara! The veil was absolutely stunning, with eloquent designs. The tiara…. that is, it. There is nothing to be said about the tiara except, BEAUTIFUL. Finally, the white sleeveless dress that was worn to the reception was absolutely stunning, Meghan looked beautiful and royal from start to finish.

3. The Looks

We cannot ignore the looks Prince Harry and Meghan passed between one another that afternoon. The slight glances proved pure love in the air and their eyes. These made the day all the more magical.

4. The Overall Love

Of course, this day was filled with love, as it was a wedding. This day was also a union between two families, and two countries. The love between the two newlyweds was shown throughout the day, and Prince Harry’s reaction to Meghan as she walked down the aisle was all a girl dreams of. However, there was more than just their love and acceptance on this day.

Sitting in the chapel alone was Meghan’s mom, watching her daughter marry a prince. Everyone could see the love in her eyes for her daughter and how proud she was of Meghan. One thing that made me tear up was the love and acceptance shown for Meghan’s mom, Doria.

At the end of the wedding ceremony, Prince Charles took her by arm and walked back up the aisle and out of the church with both his wife, Camilla and, Doria. This made my heart all warm and fuzzy, the acceptance and love shown on this day was amazing.

5. The Kids!

Let us never forget the little munchkins that followed after Meghan down the aisle. You’re definitely lying to yourself if you do not think this was the cutest thing ever. The cutest bridesmaids and page boys as they all followed Meghan, with the duty to hold the veil. Of course, Princess Charlotte waving as Harry and Meghan got in their carriage after the wedding was a show stopper. Cuteness overload!

If I have learned one thing in my lifetime, it is that friends are a privilege. No one is required to give you their company and yet there is some sort of shared connection that keeps you together. And from that friendship, you may even find yourself lucky enough to have a few more friends, thus forming a group. Here are just a few signs that prove your current friend group is the ultimate friend group.

When it comes to television, there’s very few sets of on-screen siblings that a lot of us can relate to. Only those who have grown up with siblings knows what it feels like to fight, prank, and love a sibling. Ross and Monica Geller were definitely overbearing and overshared some things through the series of "Friends," but they captured perfectly what real siblings feel in real life. Some of their antics were funny, some were a little weird but all of them are completely relatable to brothers and sisters everywhere.

1. The Legacy.

Her sister was a member, her mom was a member, all of her aunts were members, and her grandma was a member. She has been waiting her whole life to wear these letters and cried hysterically on bid day. Although she can act entitled at times, you can bet she is one of the most enthusiastic sisters.

Every kid in college and/or high school dreams of summer the moment they walk through the door on the first day back in September. It becomes harder and harder to focus in classes and while doing assignments as the days get closer. The winter has been lagging, the days are short and dark, and no one is quite themselves due to lack of energy and sunlight. Let's face it: life is ten times better in the summertime.
