Way back in 2010, Lauren Graham had an interview with Vanity Fair where she let out that "people with power" just MIGHT make a Gilmore Girls movie, but as of yet, only the fans were talking about this. It wasn't until 2013 that we heard any more talk about the movie, again from Lauren Graham. She explains in Twitter, however, that it's up to Amy Sherman-Palladino to make that happen.

Our next round of information wouldn't come for another two years. In May 2015, E! News reported that Scott Patterson appeared on a Gilmore Guys podcast and explained that "there are talks going on...but [he] can't really go into any detail, but there is some activity. But, come to find out, that was merely false hope because Patterson felt it was long overdue that the fans get SOMETHING. Just a month afterwards, Sherman-Palladinosaid, however, that there was currently nothing in the making, but that if something were to happen, it would need to be perfect.

Flash-forward four months and it is announced that Netflix has made a contract with Warner Bros. Netflix will make four 90 minute episodes and we may finally learn what those FOUR FINAL WORDS ARE. By this point, many of the original cast was on board. And in January 2016 it was confirmed by Netflix and Warner Bros. and we were given a tentative title: Gilmore Girls: Seasons. Four more months later, we were given it's official title along with a teaser poster.

Overthe course of the past 11 months we have found out just who will be reviving their old roles in the new four episodes/mini-movies. Of course Lorelai, Rory, Emily, and Luke would be returning, but many others, too, like Jess, Logan, and Dean, Babette, Taylor, and Miss Patty, and even Jackson and Sookie. There are so many others who are coming back to their roles one last time.

The original show first aired when I was only five, so my love for Gilmore Girls didn't come until much later. By the time I hit middle school this mother and daughter duo was my favorite way to unwind after school. I watched re-runs all the time. It wasn't until my sophomore year of college (just two years ago) that I finally watched it beginning to end on Netflix. I cried and laughed and got angry with the characters and they became part of the family. When it was officially announced that the revival was truly happening, I was on cloud 9. I'm sure there were others, those who followed the show when it first aired, that were happier than I, but honestly as long as they do this right, we'll all be this happy:

Just under two weeks to go...

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.
