The perception of the world is changed and determined by the next coming of age and because of this, life in the future is full of uncertainty.
Since the baby boomer period, the contribution of progress made by millennials has greatly changed the economy’s impact on daily life. Many people could fear this kind of factor may affect society later for this generation because how much change they bring to the legacy of nations on a global scale such as the American dream. This idea begs the question why some people say that millennials are the worst generation. Contrarily, the progress of this generation proves that such an assumption is wrong. This special age group can strive to pass on education and create innovative thoughts that can justify the promotion of job opportunities in many other programs that may lead other generations after them to a better start in the socioeconomic future. Millennials bring about the next first impression on the world.
To ensure that this happens, millennials have to plan ahead and take advantage of their learning by forming a relationship with their previous generation, from whom they can learn. Both of their relationships with learning can help older generations see the true nature of the world by observing their own emotional, physical, and/or mental behavior, then finding new ways to resolve these debates, such as using scientific theories. In his book, Nature, Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote, "The sun illuminates only the eye of the man, but shines into the eye and heart of the child." This statement is very significant to both the young and aging generations because it displays that a child’s perception of nature is truly portrayed in their spirit whereas man’s perception of nature only sees the appearance of it, but not its function in life since labels limit our perception. This idea shows that some people in the older generations cannot adapt to the change in the world and cannot see what the world will evolve into. Millennials could carry that trait as another way of perceiving reality by seeing the true identity of many individuals entirely no matter how old they are.
Millennials are the next generation to make a legacy on the world for others to follow. This next step in the process will not be an easy one for them to take because of their lack of self-esteem and their prioritization of their nation, which has reduced over time as they have gotten older. I think that this will be one of the biggest challenges that will negate how mentally engaged millennials are with their careers, which could someday impact the world. The solution of preventing this dilemma is motivation. One day, the true identity of the millennial generation will emerge into one, stable reality.
