Since this past election in 2016, I feel like America has been split up into three groups and I wanted to get your opinion on my viewpoint. The first group that America has is the traditional political machine . Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer are the leaders of this group. This is the group that would say "I am here to make a change for America." When in hindsight , all they ever did was stick with the status quo that would fund their pockets and push their money pile higher and higher.
The second group in America are the "controlled anger group". In my opinion , these people are the ones who voted and feel vindicated by Trumps win. A lot of these people feel like government isn't the answer , but the problem . These people are also people who looked up to Ronald Reagan and needed to find someone who gave a feeling that they would "Make America Great Again." They resent the government helping people because they feel deep in their hearts that government is the problem and not the solution.
The third group that America is split up into is called the progressive party. This is a party that was born off of liberal ideals and wanted to actually make a difference for the working mans life and hope that he would be able to get enough money to send his kids to college without worrying about saving up or worrying about going into debt. Bernie Sanders was the leading force behind this movement and it made quite a big impact on the political spectrum. Some people believe that Hillary lost because of Bernie Sanders, which in my opinion is not completely accurate. The problem with Hillary Clinton is that she was not relatable to a lot of her voters and therefore , people who intended to vote for her turned out to vote for Bernie because he seemed more genuine about what he had to say.
Anyway, that is my opinion on America today and I was interested into wondering what your viewpoint was.
