For all you Starbucks lovers, here’s a list of must haves!
If you’re feeling cold drinks:
Teavana® Shaken Iced Peach Green Tea Lemonade
Teavana teas a great go to when you’re not a coffee lover (yeah, not entirely sure how you guys survive). If it’s hot teas, you pretty much can’t go wrong with any of the options. When it comes to Iced Teas, it’s time to be pickier. The green tea gives
Green Tea Crème Frappuccino® Blended Crème
Here’s another alternate for the fake coffee drinkers. One of the most popular drinks on the menu, the Green Tea frap gives you enough caffeine for you to convince yourself you’re getting the Starbucks experience.
Java Chip Frappuccino® (With Skim Milk, of course)
Okay, now to the real Frappuccino. The Java Chip is the perfect blend of coffee and ice, and honestly, it replaces any afternoon snack because it’s thick enough to be filling.
Cold Brew Iced Coffee with Skim Milk and Toffee Nut
Need something to keep you going? The Cold Brew is the way to go. It is a rich coffee blend and is definitely worth the price up from regular iced coffee. Add in the skim milk and toffee nut (or any flavor of your choice) and you have a drink you’ll definitely enjoy.
Iced Americano with Coconut Milk and Two Pumps of Hazelnut
Try this only if you dare. The Iced Americano is arguably the strongest coffee on the Starbucks menu is definitely not for the coffee amateur. Make sure you only ask for two pumps of flavor because this maintains the strength of the coffee which still being slightly sweet. Coconut is a great alternate to regular milk and in most Starbucks (other than the ones located inside Barnes and Noble) it’s usually not charged. If you need something to help you focus on your MCAT study material, no better drink exists on the menu.
If you’re feeling something hot:
Caffè Americano with Coconut Milk and Two Pumps of Hazelnut
I know. I included the same thing in the cold drinks, but the Americano is a classic. Hot or cold, this is the coffee you drink to get work done.
Coconut Milk Mocha Macchiato
A new addition to the Starbucks, this is a drink that’ll stay. The espresso provides it with enough strength that an avid coffee drinker will appreciate but the mocha adds enough flavor for the amateur.
Flat White
It’s relatively cheap. It does the job. It tastes like coffee. It’s steaming hot and freshly brewed. There isn’t much more to ask for from coffee.
Pumpkin Spiced Latte
It’s a seasonal drink and it’s for the BASIC B*+$%!
Peppermint Mocha
Imagine a cold winter day when you go to visit New York City with your friends to see the tree (this should be an annual tradition), as you walk through Times Square, your hands are probably freezing over. Nothing feels better at this moment than holding a hot red cup and sipping on Peppermint Mocha.
