Surprise, surprise. It's the holiday season, and I'm single, again. But, is this really a bad thing? I've created a pros and cons list to assist me in this assessment, and here is what I have come-up with.
Pro: You don't have to worry if your gift will please your significant other.
Con: You won't receive gift(s) from a very special person.
Pro: You'll save money.
Con: You won't have anyone to snuggle/cuddle with next to the fire.
Pro: More holiday food for you.
Con: When any of your relatives ask if you're dating, you will always be triggered.
Pro: You don't have to worry about impressing your significant other's parents.
Con: Not being able to do fun activities with that special person.
Pro/Con: Going to holiday parties alone.
Pro: You can spend your break from work/school by doing whatever the hell you want.
Based on this, I believe that it is better to be single for the holiday season. Sure, you may feel lonelier; however, you can save money, eat more food, and do you. Who wouldn't want that?
