Now you have heard of Power TV Couples like Jim/Pam and Monica/Chandler, but have you heard of Power (Best Friend) Couples?

Throughout the years of television, there have been many best friend "couples" on various shows. Below is a list of besties that portray what true friendship is.

1. Shawn and Gus (Psych)

Sharing is caring especially if food is involved. You don't share food often, but besties are an exception.

2. JD and Turk (Scrubs)

Admiring each other's accomplishments and being supportive of them.

3. Miley and Lily (Hannah Montana)

After you have an argument, about nothing, you gotta hug it out.

4. Cory and Shawn (Boy Meets World)

When your best friend's partner doesn't like you, but you still try to continue your friendship.

5. Joey and Chandler (Friends)

Best friends stick together, they hate and love the same people you do.

6. Karen and Jack (Will and Grace)

You tell your friend the truth, sometimes it can be too harsh but you know your heart is in the right place.

7. Jack and Eric (Boy Meets World)

You constantly compliment each other on their magnificent qualities.

8. Leslie and Ann (Parks and Recreation)

Sometimes you wonder if you will ever find a better person that fills that romantic void.

9. Loreli and Suki (Gilmore Girls)

Gushing over every detail of your bestie's relationship is 50% of the conversations you have.

10. Blair and Selena (Gossip Girl)

They're always there to remind you that you're better off without him/her.

11. Lucy and Ethel ( I Love Lucy)

It doesn't matter if they just ate, they're always down to order food.

12. Christina and Meredith (Grey's Anatomy)

You don't like to share your best friend with other people.

13. Howard and Raj (Big Bang Theory)

Sometimes your friendship gets so comfortable, you don't care if people judge you.

14. Ted and Marshall (How I Met Your Mother)

Singing and Dancing in the car, when your favorite song comes on the radio, is a must.

15. DJ and Kimmy (Full House)

Finally, accepting each other for who you are no matter how quirky.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
