YouTube’s is quite popular in this day and age. There are so many different people in the YouTube business. Whether they are singers or educators. Or artists to entertainers. There is one very well known fandom on the YouTube website.

Its name is the Phandom.

This may strike fear into some people. As the Phandom can be the weirdest but also the sweetest people ever. (Aside from the terrifying side that even members of the Phandom avoid).

But Jelly what is the Phandom? And why do you know about it? Are you in it?

Well dear reader, let us start with your first question. It is a fan group as you know. They are the fans of two British based YouTubers named Dan Howell and Phil Lester (or respectively Danisnotonfire and Amazingphil ). They both have their own witty sense of hmnor. Dan is more known to be sarcastic and have the more depressing side. But he is still charming. While Phil is more nicknamed as the “angel bean”, because he is more of the whole "softie" side, but he is actually really smart and can get really serious when needed. He is more of the sweeter of the two and is the reason why Dan even started making videos. Phil was originally the earlier YouTubers of the duo, and Dan discovered his videos and they became friends (now best friends) over time. And because of Phil, Dan was pulling out of a very depressing part of his life. Together they collaborate on videos and have their own gaming channel (danandphilgames) and on April Fool’s they upload to their crafting channel, DanandPhilCrafts.

Now next question.

How do I know about the Phandom? Because I am in it dear reader. I joined back in my senior year of high school. The reason being is because my friend told me that these two fit my sense of humor and that they can be very calming to watch . At first I was like “Yeah sure I’ll watch them”. And so I did. I did not pay attention to the comments, as I was only there to watch their videos and enjoy it. But then I became attached to them. Which is an oh no indeed. So I talked to my bud that recommended them to me, but she was like “Ugh Jelly I know”, which did upset me. So I stopped mentioning them to her. So I was alone until I began reading the comments. At first I was nervous and such because these are new people and I’m a nervous wreck. (Mind you I was a senior in highschool when this started. And I was cautious of people due to bullying and other issues). And so I commented on other people’s comment threads and it was quite humorous and fun.

Until I met them. The rabid fans. The ones that my new Tumblr friends told me to avoid. (I exchanged my personal Tumblr with several people). Since I drew fanart of the two stars they wanted more. All I did was a simple color study painting of them. (Which I have to redo). But somehow a small but mighty crowd of people were interested. Now at first I thought it was good. I’ll paint more fan-art of them. After all they were fun to paint and my mom actually hung the work around the house because she thought they were funny and charming and my artwork was getting somewhat better. I was also popular on some Phan Aminos. (Which is an app that harvests different hobbies and things people like). (Almost like a virtual club with forums and all different types of people). Now that was fine. But some other people I know we’re harassed for their art and it was horrible. Because they are so talented and they did not ask for this. They privately share their art with a close few now. Such as myself. It was a train-wreck. And we all avoid that amino that caused it.

The Phandom is not that bad. It is almost like any other group of people. You have the nice folks. The in-between the nice and mean. And the mean. And each one has their own sub categories. The memes made by the group as a whole is hilarious. And right now is probably the golden age of the Phandom. As they are not really harassing each other as much (as far as I know), and they weed out anyone who shares the V-Day video which as a true member it is in my duties to not discuss it. But yes there are still those who are way too obsessive and tend to get all angry if Dan and Phil are collaborating with someone else or just anything in particular can set them off. It is frightening. But not all are bad. So give them a chance. Draw some cat whiskers and a cat nose on your face and go have fun.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

eye roll

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

Yify

Another day, another Elle Woods comment. Can’t us blondes get through the day without someone harping at us over the typical stereotypes about who we are? I never understood why a person was judged based upon the hair color they were born with, or the hair color they choose to have (unless you dye your hair blue like Kylie Jenner, I’m still trying to understand why that’s a trend). Nevertheless, as it should be assumed, not everyone is the same. Not all blondes like bright colors and Lilly Pulitzer, and not all blondes claim to identify with Marilyn Monroe. I think the best suggestion to give to people before they make such radical claims is to stop judging a book by its cover. Or in this case, stop judging a blonde by her hair color.
