As the holidays are getting closer, the thing that always come to mind is all of the amazing dinner and snack foods that come with it. Between chocolate chip pound cake and any kind of appetizer dip you can think of, one of my favorite holiday foods would have to be Captain Rodney's Dip. While many have this year around, my mom only cooks it at Christmas time. It is a very simple recipe without much cooking time at all. Here is one of the best things you will ever eat, right in time for Christmas.
Otherwise known as "The Top Tailgating Recipe in the South", this simple recipe includes the following:
Mix the mayonnaise, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, bacon, onions, and ¼ a cup of Captain Rodney's Boucan Glaze in a greased quiche pan. Sprinkle the crackers over the top of the pan and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. After it is finished cooking, pour the remaining ¼ cup of Captain Rodney's Boucan Glaze on top of the pan. Serve the dip with Ritz Crackers and prepare to eat all of it!
