With fall approaching shortly, it's time to start getting all your favorite fall piece together. It is considered by a lot of people to be the most fashionable season because there are so many options and ways you can wear outfits. One of the best parts is the accessories. Big hat, scarf, boots, etc. there are so many options and ways to wear them. Every season you need your staple pieces, which are the pieces you can wear over and over again. Below are five items that would be great staple pieces for fall 2016!

1. The first item is a saddle bag. This kind of bag is one of the trendiest purses right now. The brown leather one's are perfect for fall and can go with so many different outfits. Not to mention it has a lot of room to fit as much as you need. You can find them priced from high end to low end, almost any store will have this kind of bag.

2. The next item is brown Aviator sunglasses. Again, the color goes with anything you could wear. Sunglasses are such a great accessory and an important one to have. The style of the sunglasses and color are perfect for any season, especially fall.

3. The next piece is one of my personal favorites and that is the plaid scarf. Plaid is one of the best prints and one of the most popular for fall. It's perfect for keeping warm and still looks cute on. You can pair it with a t-shirt, long sleeve, dress, skirt, and it will look good with all of those.

4. This is a article of clothing rather than an accessory but it can be worn so many different ways. You can pair any color with it shoe wise. It is a cream, oversize turtle neck sweater.

5. My favorite thing to wear is booties, specifically brown ones. The color and style is perfect for fall, and like the sweater above, can go with so many different things. There really isn't a better shoe for fall.

6. The last accessory is the floppy hat, specifically black. The color is neutral which means any color can go with it. It is arguably one of the most popular fall trends and can be worn in the winter time as well. It is so versatile and is a great addition to any outfit.

Fall is a great season and there are so many things to do and wear. The accessories above are only six things and as I said before, fashion is about being unique and having your own style. So if you do decide to use any of the things above, make sure you use it and style it your way. After writing this post I'm pretty excited for fall, what about you?

P.S. Starbucks is selling their pumpkin spice lattes in glass jars and in supermarket stores! As if we did not need another reason to be excited for fall!

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
