What you see may not be what you think

From what you click on a link

In the eyes of the other person on the screen

Can be easily deceived

A digital devil called social media

As we pose ourselves for the ‘gram

We are draining our morality with a slam

Because we want to show that we are happy

Just for a couple of seconds on the snappy

As we open in 2017

We still find our way in the scene

But at the end of the day

“Things are rough allover”

Go through the stopovers

As we exit the app on our phones

We still have the feeling of being alone

Is it that hard of being yourself

Because we all seem like broken tools on a shelf.
