You are beautiful. You are enough. You are you.

“Sometimes the littlest things take up the most room in your heart.” – Winnie the Pooh

I will never forget the day that I met my niece. She was two years old, her hair as crazy as her personality, and eyes were as big as her heart. That day my life forever changed, for the better. From that day on she has made my life the greatest of all lives. She may not be old enough to read this just yet, but one day she will be, so I want her to know a few things that she will need to hear when that day comes.

So to the one who made me an aunt, please always remember these things.

You are more than enough.

You are going to face many obstacles in your life time. You will have people who will judge you for the color of your skin, you will have people who hate you for the way you smile and the curliness of your hair, they will tell you that you are too tall or maybe too short, that you are too skinny or too thick, but you are enough. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. God has designed you to be in his likeness and that makes you indescribably beautiful!

You are loved.

You are loved beyond what you will ever know by more people than you’ll ever realize. You have touched the hearts of many and you will continue to do so. Look around you; understand that those people have covered you with love since the day you were born. You, my little one, will never have to question the amount of love we all have for you.

I'm crazy about you.

Urie Bronfenbrenner said it best: “Every child needs at least one adult who is irrationally crazy about him or her. well girlfriend, if no one else is, I am irrationally crazy about you! You have had me wrapped around your finger since the day I met you. From our crazy makeover nights, to watching "Mulan" at least a dozen times in a few nights to eating Mexican food for three days straight, you have me wrapped around your finger and there is not a single child that I love more than you!

You are beautiful.

If there is ever a day that you don’t think you are beautiful, you are wrong. Your beauty shines from the inside out. Remember, beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself, so when you get older and you have to pick between being you or being who others want you to be, be yourself. Nothing is more beautiful than that. Take a look in the mirror, those curls, those eyes, your cute little nose, your smile, your sweet little laugh and the love you have for God—that makes you beautiful.

And lastly I want you to remember: I am always here for you.

When you feel that the world is crashing down on you and there is no one that you can turn to, I am here for you. When you need a shoulder to cry on, when a boy breaks your heart, when you can’t tell your mom (sorry, Jess!), please know that you are not alone, and that I am always here to listen to you and to help you in any way I can. I may not always be in the same state as you are, I may not be able to be there in person but I hope you know that it doesn’t matter the time or the day, I will be there some way and somehow. I love you, more than you will ever comprehend. Thank you for changing and completing my life.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
