To The One Who Loves Him Next

To the one who loves him next,

I would first like to tell you congratulations. You've won over a perfect, stand up guy. He is sweet, compassionate, selfless and a handsome dude. But there are some things you should know about him before you decide to love him.

First off, he loves attention. Give him all of your attention when you get the chance. He may come off as clingy at first, but don't think of it as a bad thing. He is only showing that he cares about you.

Second, he loves to give affection. He'll always want to hug you, hold your hand and kiss you. Don't fight it.It's another way of him showing that he loves you.

Third, he is independent. He does not depend on anyone for his happiness or to help him do things. Let him do it himself.

Fourth, he loves surfing. He loves to go out and just get some time alone. Let him go. There will be plenty of time he'll be your own that night. Go with him, too. That means so much to him.

Fifth, he has his demons. Like everyone else, he has his ups and downs. Please, be there for him. He doesn't open up often but he does, he'll need someone to lean on. Be there for him when he needs you, it means so much to him.

Finally, love him the way I didn't. Kiss him the way I didn't. Love his quirky jokes and something goofy mistakes. Make sure you tell him that he's important to you because God knows that I didn't.

Don't make the same mistakes I did when I was with him and I promise you he'll be there forever. Take good care him.

Sincerely,

The one who lost him

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
