The Office

The Office is the greatest TV series of all time and here's why.

There are countless things that put The Office above all other TV series.

1. The Office theme song

-admit it, you're singing it in your head right now.

2. The setting

It just makes you want to move to Scranton and start a small paper company in a building complex.

3. The plot is greater than any other plot

So simple, so subtle. In the beginning it seems as though there isn't a plot, but that's the point. The plot develops as you attach to the characters.

4. The uniqueness of each character

Every single character has a specific manner that adds to the show. No character is left out of the uniqueness of the show.

5. The wittiest show of all

No other show would be able to pull off the most subtle humor in such a spectacular way. Every episode brings new hilarity and with that makes you love the show even more.

6. The jokes become your own

Jokes on the show soon become your inside jokes with those who also watch the show. Whether it's a specific line or "that's what she said", you think of The Office whenever you say it.

7. Dwight Schrute.

Dwight is one of the most original characters to ever develop on a show. From the series pilot to the series finale he stays true to his character and never loses his humor.

8. Jim vs. Dwight.

The rival that never stopped. This duel began with childish pranks and ended with Jim as Dwight's 'bestest mensch'. There has never been a better development into friendship.

9. Pam & Jim

The greatest love story of all time. Jim and Pam put Romeo and Juliet to shame. A relationship envied by everyone, including myself.

10. Michael Scott

-let's face it, The Office would not be what it is today without Michael. The greatest boss of all time, yet the worst boss imaginable. Often seen as the foundation of the show itself.

11. A finale above all others

The Office series finale is one that makes you cry and cry every time you watch it. Mixed feelings arise when you say goodbye to your favorite characters (more like your friends at that point) and watch them find their heart's desires after so many seasons. No finale will beat The Office finale.

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.

10 Things Only Equestrians Understand

Yes, it IS a sport. Yes, I fall all the time. No, I do not ride in jeans with a cowgirl hat on.

Growing up I have always wanted to own a horse. My grandparents own a well known equestrian facility in Georgia, so I have been riding since I was born. A bond between a person and their horse is a bond so strong that it cannot be broken. Everywhere I went I wanted to be around horses, even forcing my family to go on trail rides during vacations. Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember has taught me great responsibility, as well as 14 things that all equestrians can relate to.

College is super hard. Between working, studying, and having a social life, it feels like a struggle to just keep afloat.

I understand. When you feel like your drowning and there's no way to stay afloat I understand that it feels like everyone else is doing just fine. I understand all the frustration, long nights in the library, and that feeling that you want to just throw in the towel. I understand that sometimes it's too hard to get out of bed because your brain is already filled with too much information to remember. I understand because I am also feeling pretty burnt out.

No Matter How Challenging School Gets, You Have To Put Your Health First — A Degree Won't Mean Anything If You're Dead

Some of the best advice I've ever received was from my social studies teacher in sophomore year of high school. He stated, "If you don't know it at midnight, you're not going to know it for the 8 a.m. exam, so get some sleep."

It's such a simple piece of advice, but it holds so much accuracy and it's something that the majority of college students need to hear and listen to. "All-nighters" are a commonality on college campuses in order to cram in studying for an exam that is typically the next day.
