A Very Merry Dunder Mifflin Christmas

Happy Birthday, Jesus. Sorry your party's so lame.

Christmas movies are definitely fun and festive, but "The Office" is my go-to pick when I want to get in the holiday spirit. Sure, it may not be conventional, but the Christmas episodes are filled with fun decorations, bad santa costumes, and plenty of laughs. So, I've decided to rank the 7 Christmas specials NBC's greatest television show has to offer from absolute best to sub-par (It's the office, so it's still amazing).

1. Christmas Party

In this case, the writers got it right the first time. This is hands down the best of them all. Don't even argue. Michael spends far too much money on a Secret Santa gift (an iPod), is disappointed when he receives a hand-crafted oven mitt from Phyllis, and decides to turn the activity into a game of "Yankee swap" which kind of ruins the whole party.

2. Secret Santa

Phyllis is sSnta. Michael wants to be Santa. Michael can't be Santa. Michael becomes Jesus instead. Oh, and Andy's Secret Santa gift to Erin is all of the fowl from "The Twelve Days of Christmas" song. There's a lot going on in this one.

3. A Benihana Christmas

Karen is in this episode, so I almost didn't want to rank it at number three, but she did end up helping Pam plan an amazing party that blew Angela's nutcracker idea out of the water, so I guess I can give her some credit. Overall, this episode has everything from karaoke to random Stamford employees to the hilariously heartbroken Michael Scott.

4. Classy Christmas

It's a classy Christmas, what's not to love? The fabulous Holly Flax covers for Toby in this one (A Christmas miracle for Michael), and Dwight and Jim are up to their usual antics.

5. Moroccan Christmas

Meredith gets too wild at the annual Christmas party and gets her hair caught on fire. Honestly, the only thing keeping this one from being the last on the list is the fact that Dwight bought out the hottest children's toy on the market and ends up gouging innocent people with his crazy prices. Supply and demand.

6. Christmas Wishes

Drunk Erin is the star of this episode. Everyone gets wild, but the audience sees a really honest and vulnerable side of Erin. It's still a hilarious Christmas special, just a little sad. I guess we can't all be happy during the holidays!

7. Dwight Christmas

While every episode of "The Office: is a blessing to me because I'm obsessed, this one was mostly just strange because it gave the audience a glimpse into Dwight's unusual Christmas tradition. Belsnickel is a thing of nightmares.

While "The Office: is not typically the most festive show, it has a few holiday gems. So log into Netflix, sit back, relax and binge watch all of these Christmas treats! Here's to hoping you'll attend a Christmas bash that's been approved by the Party Planning Committee!

College is a crazy, beautiful, amazing whirlwind. It is highly popularized in television and movies, but not necessarily in the most accurate way. Yes, there's frats, dingy dorms, raging house parties—but there's also a lot that people fail to mention.

Girl With Bleached Hair
Tumblr

I've been a bleach blonde for over a year now, and let me tell you, it is a lifestyle. More hair appointments, longer showers, and special shampoo. But it is totally worth it!

1. Mentally preparing yourself to convince your hair dresser that white is the way to go.

2. Or the anxiety of what could go wrong by bleaching your hair at home.

3. You could either become a ginger

4. Or a pixie

5. The face you make in the mirror when you take off your towel to unveil the perfect white strands.

6. Taking a million selfies the day you bleached it, because you know your roots will be back in literally 2 days.

7. Having to get bangs or a big chop because your hair is so damaged.

8. Having orange highlights in between touch-ups.

9. Going out for a drink afterwards to debut your updated look.

Despite the struggles, you love your platinum blonde hair! You make sure Instagram knows it, too. You don't need a filter, because the color is flawless by itself!

I've been at this college thing for almost three and a half years, and while I thought that high school was truly the lowest point of my existence, I'm beginning to realize that it was a walk in the park. Like, I miss the days when the biggest white lie I told my parents was my made up excuse about being late for fourth period. These days, the white lies are a tad more complex, and as ashamed as I am to admit it, I've definitely told a few of these.
