The New Orleans Saints deserve without a doubt a spot in Super Bowl LIII.

Am I bias because I am a dedicated Who Dat fan, probably so, but I think even a non Who Dat would agree that they were robbed of victory!

The New Orleans Saints were denied a spot in Super Bowl LIII after losing to the Los Angeles Rams due to the referees not making the right call about a pass-interference play. The play was between Drew Brees who threw a pass directing it to Tommylee Lewis. The Rams player Nickell Roby Coleman tackled Lewis before the play was even carried out. A flag should have been called but the referees did not call the play. The game itself had been a frustrating back and forth points lead game all throughout, then it went so far as going into overtime.

Saints fans are so furious, that even local New Orleans attorney Frank D'Amico Jr. filed a lawsuit against the NFL and Roger Goodell who is the Commissioner of the National Football League.

The New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton was informed that even the officials of the NFL have admitted to them costing the Saints the game by not calling the pass-interference call that was also a helmet to helmet hit as well.

Thousands of fans are wanting a redo of the NFC Championship that then will determine the rightful team's spot in the Super Bowl.

From hype songs to local and online support and dedication to the Saints, fans from all over were getting ready for the Saints to have a shot at winning another Super Bowl since our win in 2009.

Even dedicated Rams fans themselves agreed that this was one of the worst no-calls ever seen in NFL history!

Losing because you didn't play up to snuff is one thing, but to lose because of the blatant wrongdoing of an official, a call they admit to having missed, just feels like a robbery. Hoping the Saints get a chance to earn their spot; but regardless, always a Saints fan.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs.
