As debates have concluded, and the election is approaching quickly, all we can do is reflect on the previous presidential debates. There have been more than a few moments of outright stupidity that has caused a few uproars, but also a few laughs. Needless to say, here are a few of the most memorable trending moments during these presidential debates.

Now go home Hillary and Donald, you're both drunk.

1. Puppet For President

As Clinton attacked Trump for being a little too close to Russian President Vladimir Putin, she stated, "Well that's because he'd rather have a puppet for president in the United states." Trump fired back with "no puppet, no puppet. You're the puppet." Needless to say, many memes and humorous photos emerged the internet after this commentary.

2. The Debate Crowd Laughed When Trump Said He Respected Women

Clinton stated, ”Donald thinks belittling women makes him bigger. He goes after their dignity, their self-worth, and I don’t think there is a woman anywhere who doesn’t know what that feels like.” In this moment, Donald attempted to be innocent, but it did not work out in his favor. "No one has more respect for women than I do." Yeah, okay. Right after that came out of Donald's mouth, the crowd burst into laughter.

3. When Donald Tries To Avoid The Subject Of "Locker Room Talk" And Starts Talking About ISIS

During the debate, the infamous "locker room talk" scandal was brought up. Trump tried to quickly move on by avoiding the topic and talking about how we need to be fighting ISIS. In all honesty, this reoccurring scenario for Trump leads to some pretty humorous tweets. Fighting ISIS always seems to be Trumps answer, no matter the topic of discussion.

4. Hillary For Prison?

Trump stated that if he is elected, he would appoint a special prosecutor to look into Clinton’s handling of her emails. After Clinton became defensive and questioned Trump's temperament. “Good that someone with the temperament of Donald Trump is not in charge of the law in our country.” Trump shot back, “You’d be in jail.”

5. "Bad Hombres"

Clinton calls Trump's immigration stand un-American, in which it could deport millions without official papers and divide families. Clinton states, ”That’s an idea that would rip our country apart.” Trump responds by referring to four of his guests in the crowd, who lost relatives killed by violent undocumented foreigners: “We have some bad hombres here — and we’re gonna get them out.”

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.
