Is Tyra always right? Are these model wanna-be's right to cry and cry as their hair gets colored, dyed, curled, or straightened? America's Next Top Model has always been one of my guilty pleasures, and the makeover episodes are always the best. There is no shortage of tears and temper tantrums.
1. Catie Anderson
Back in cycle 2, 18 year old 5 foot 10 model wanna-be got her long blonde locks cut off. This proved to be too much for Catie to handle. She cried, cried, and cried (which is what she did for most of her cycle) I think Tyra was right to cut her hair, what do you think?
2. Jaeda Young
Tyra decides that Jaeda is not just beautiful, but she is "handsome." Tyra decides this is a good thing, that Jaeda should embrace. So, she cuts off all of her hair. Leaving Jaeda heartbroken. Throughout her cycle, her tears over her short new do did not stop.
3. Cassandra Whitehead
In Cycle 5, upon hearing that her long brunette locks were going to be snipped into a blonde pixie, the pageant queen bursted into tears. She was unconsolable as the stylist chopped off her hair. It didn't end there, once her hair was cut, the judges wanted to cut another inch. This prompted her to leave the competition. What do you think? before or after?
4. Alexandria Everett
Dramatic does not only mean crying out of sadness and distraught, some contestions turn into basket cases of excitement following their new looks. Alexandria sobbed, and sobbed due to her love for her new hair. This caused fellow model wanna-be's to think she was crazy.
5. Brittany Hatch
In cycle 8, Tyra decided that Brittany needed a red hair weave. At first, she was excited about her new look. However; after hours of having fake hair sewn into her head, the complaining started. After weeks of complaining of itching, Tyra ultimately had the weave removed.
