During the school year, it can be hard to find time to read in between classes, homework, extracurriculars, and a social life. That's why summer is the perfect time to catch up on all those missed hours you could've spent reading. Many must-have books are set for this summer, and so you need to make sure you don't miss out on reading a single one.

1. "The Girls" by Emma Cline.

Emma Cline's debut novel follows the life of a lonely teenager, Evie Boyd, during the end of the violent 1960s in Northern California. She is quickly drawn into an infamous cult by an older girl named Suzanne, which leads her down a path she might not want to follow. The book is out now and is flying off the shelves and receiving all kinds of praise. Lena Dunham says that the book "reminds us that behind so many of our culture’s fables exists a girl: unseen, unheard, angry. This book will break your heart and blow your mind."

2. "Invincible Summer" by Swan Huntley.

First-time author Swan Huntley hopes to captivate audiences with her book "Invincible Summer," which comes out on June 28. The novel follows the lives of Eva, Benedict, Sylvie, and Lucien, four friends from college, and shows how their lives change over the course of 20 years. The story examines just how drastically plans can shift as they transition from dreams to reality. This will definitely be a must-read, especially for college students.

3. "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child: Parts One and Two," by Jack Thorne.

Based on the stage production of the same name, "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" takes place many years after the events of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows." So many years, in fact, Harry is a husband, a father of three, and an employee at the Ministry of Magic. The story is said to focus on the relationship between Harry and his youngest son Albus. The book is actually a copy of the official script used for the play, so calling it a novel isn't really fair, but the story is based on an original idea from J.K. Rowling herself. Look for it on shelves July 31.

4. "The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo" by Amy Schumer.

Amy Schumer, everyone's favorite comedian/writer/actress, is set to release a highly anticipated memoir on August 16. Described as "the literary equivalent of a night out with your best friend," Schumer's book of true stories is sure to be hilarious as well as heartfelt. With the success of her television show "Inside Amy Schumer" and her movie "Trainwreck," the book will undoubtedly be a massive hit.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
