The Monster Under The Bed

They always tell us don't look under the bed at bedtime or don't get your leg out of the bed cover because the beast will drag you with it and won't let you sleep in peace.

So apparently I used to look under the bed a lot in order to make sure that what they were saying was true. Every time I look at it, it just shows me complete darkness and some of my paintbrushes that I've been looking for and can't find.There was no such peace-hating and innocent soul beast.

The days pass and I look under the bed after my family left the door of the room, because of my gentle soul I thought that the beast fears me and hates to confront me because I am strong.

And I kept doing everything that went against the sayings, from keeping my feet out of the bed and everything your parents told you about, thinking I was fine.
