Sunlight refracts in wind blown dust
familiar in form but abstract in purpose
a solemn, solitary grasp of the eyes, if only for a moment
chaotic clouds churn
Deserted streets bustling to brim with business
people scattered everywhere form tightly knit cliques
their inner character does not concern me
a simple gust of triumphant wind
Gales swipe the leaves off of the tree of youth
the tiniest pinprick is heard echoing through the field
sashes down the street, along with my ambitions
deception at its finest
Neuronic impulse felt shuddering from brainstems
continue branch to branch, only to collide in space
both carrying the same emotions, yet staggeringly aboulic
a single moment, lost in a sea of thought
Fate will have you dive down to the ocean floor
for nothing but previously wished upon pennies and worn rubber soles
to drown out the white noise of your newfound conscience
ignorance is key, sophistication is amplificatory
