The 5 Symbols of a Bra

It's not just a boob holder.

Bras are a large part of a woman's life. They determine how annoying or sexy their day will be.These boulder holders were originally created to "support the breasts". In other words, they make running and jumping not so painful, and they make the girls look a little better underneath your clothes. So why do we tend to believe they are so awful? Basically, bras are a symbol of our days, feminism, confidence, laziness and commitment.

The symbol of the day.

As the day begins, the bra gets put on. Both of these things can be equally as awful. If the day involves long meetings and work tasks, the uncomfortable bra you're wearing is just as agonizing. During the work week, the end of the day is the most relaxing time. When we take our bras off, it is representing the symbol of relief, the symbol of "I'm not doing anything productive for the rest of the night so don't bother me". No matter what happens, you are not putting that thing back on. It's almost as if the bra you were wearing all day wasn't just holding your boobs, but everything you hated about the entire day.

The symbol of confidence.

On the other hand, a nice, sexy bra could become the outlet for confidence. Why do you think Victoria's Secret makes millions off of their lingerie? They make bras with unnecessary frills, jewels, bows and lace, but we love that shit. Even if no one can see our bra, knowing that we look and feel good under our clothes despite the bad hair day or lack of makeup can make a world of difference in our attitude.

The symbol of feminism.

In opposition to the wearing of bras, there are gals willing to let them loose all day, disregarding what any man may think. After all, the whole idea of a bra being a supportive article of clothing has been lost over time, considering they are being designed to create a woman's "ideal body". If they were strictly made for bearing breasts, the 1950s "bullet bra" would have never been created. So, if you have the courage to let them hang free, YOU GO GIRL.

Symbol of our laziness.

I'm sure I'm not the only one to wear the same bra a day or two in a row. Unlike our undies, some of us strongly believe that bras just don't get dirty...even though they sit under our pits and over the boob sweat all day. Bras are also a symbol of how often we take our bras off at night to find the potato chips we never bothered to dig out during lunch.

A symbol of commitment.

We never give up what we love. No matter how ripped, stained or small our bras become, we cannot just simply toss them out. They have been with us through the best and worst of times, never letting us down (literally).

Bras,

We hate you. But we also love you.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
