If you live in Western Massachusetts it can be difficult to find things to do every weekend. At the start of summer, my friends and I weren't very productive. We are looking to get the most out of our summer. A summer with no regrets. If you live in Massachusetts, these are 30 different things to do this summer!

1. White Water Rafting on the Deerfield River, Massachusetts

2. Go to Fenway for a Red Soxs game

3.Trying different foods at the International Food Fest at the Big E in West Springfield, Massachusetts

4. Ramblewild’s Tree Canopy Walk in Lanesborough, Massachusetts

5. Spend the evening at Mohegan Sun/ Foxwoods in Connecticut

6. Go to a country concert at the Xfinity Theatre in Connecticut

7. Go to a drive in movie theatre

8. Cliff jumping in Becket, Massachusetts

9. Visit different locations for firework shows

10.Visit Mystic Aquarium in Mystic, Connecticut

11. Visit local fairs

12. Go on a hike to Mount Tom in Holyoke, Massachusetts

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.
