William Francis.
If you know anything about the uprising stems of the world in punk rock during the early 2000s, you may have passed by the face of this fellow once or twice. Specifically, if your sub-genre taste included a flair for the gothic and horror punk scene, then yeah, you definitely should know this face. If not, a little enlightenment for you:
Aiden.
A horror punk rock band that lived it's tenure through 2003 all the way to early 2016. Y'know, that one band who gave absolutely no regard for spewing their disdain for religion and the many misguided individuals, believed to distort the truth of one source of faith, none the less in the hands of a God.
No, not Bad Religion.
These Guys.
Yeah, you probably recognize them through such records as "Our Gangs Dark Oath" "Nightmare Anatomy" or "Knives".
Well, they're gone now.
That chapter has come, told it's tale in riveting fashion and has closed the doors on their story. However, a 'new order' of business has picked up to quite a revolutionary twist, specifically being for the former frontman, Wil Francis.
Or now popularly known as, William Control.
Back in 2008, Francis wanted to take a step in a different line of a music scene that completely separated from his original show of play. As a result of switching off the ripped t-shirts, glamorous guy-liner and piling basements for sweat-inducing rabid teens looking for a frenzy thrill, came the electronic dance wave of suave, dressed for the occasion, dance and risqué action in bar lounges of a project that continues to sweep several women (and men) into a trance of euphoric rapture.
And thus introduces the unprecedented "Godfather" himself.
As stated from Francis, William Control is the story of a man who wants to spend a night enjoying himself through the acts of debauchery before killing himself. The story picks off in the debut album, entitled Hate Culture.
Then onward to the sophomore album of the unprecedented continuation of Control's journey through life, Noir.
An extended follow-up, now in a state of accepting life for what it is and making the best of the situation through a near fatal mistake some past time ago, in Silentium Amoris.
Towards living in the modern era now taking hold of a vision to uphold in being an artist of enticing souls and trembling dancing shoes and bodies all around in melodioustunes through the self-acclaimed, Neuromancer.
Currently, now sided by guitarist, Kenneth Fletcher, keyboardist, Ian MacWilliams and drummer, Ben Tourkantonis. All compiled by the group known as The Neuromantic Boys.
Control and company now hold steady with eyes set toward the future as they together enhance the sound with explosive dynamics, pulsing with great force to exciting set off each female strapped with leather and lace. Additionally, with the stems of the newly declared, #NeuromanticMovement, the set prepares for the unveiling of the fore-coming fifth album, Revelations. Releasing 4 separate EPs, The Pale,
The Black, The Red and The White which will all compile the album. In what should be destined to be the biggest banger of the electronic new age, it is believed that William Control has come a long way to now claiming throne to a rewarding platform for many to enjoy and let loose in the most fulfilling fashions.
Not bad for the ol' kid from Seattle in that one thrashing goth clique.
