We all know college is rough.

College is a time of transitions and new experiences. You are free to make your own decisions while still having boundaries. You have free time but you still can’t do everything you want to do. No one really understands college, but it goes something like this.

1. When your parents leave you on move in day

We all hate to admit it but we hate when our parents leave us on move in day. It officially means we are all on our own.

2. When you realize you have to be an adult

The word "adult" makes us all cringe. We want to be innocent kids eating cookies at grandma's again, not being independent.

3. Trying to reassure yourself after failing a test

We try to savor the last bit of hope we have left in ourselves.

4. Your outfit during finals week

Trying to convince your teachers that you worked really hard and deserve an A.

5. When class get cancelled

No class calls for a celebration. That means one more day to procrastinate.

6. Leaving your friends for breaks

You don't know how to function during school breaks away from friends. You are so used to them being right down the hall.

7. Trying to finish your paper that’s due at midnight when it’s 11:53 p.m.

We try to remember every homework assignment but sometimes we forget.

8. After spending two minutes doing homework

Doing homework for an extended period of time is hard work, so we reward ourselves with multiple breaks very very frequently.

9. When the teacher starts lecturing on syllabus day

Syllabus day is strictly for going over the syllabus. You know you are in trouble when the teacher begins lecturing on syllabus day.

10. You haven’t done laundry all week

Sometimes laundry just doesn't get done so you have to make do with the situation.

11. Emptying your brain after a test

You have to empty out all the material you just learned for the test and prep your brain to memorize new material.

12. Avoiding all your responsibilities

Responsibilities. Sometimes you just can't handle them anymore, so you lay in bed and avoid them as long as you can.

13. Trying to catch up on everything you procrastinated doing

Procrastination is a college kids favorite thing to do. We procrastinate until we can't anymore and end up buried in school work.

14. Waiting for your grades to be posted

We already know what our grade should be but we wait in fear for reassurance of our doom.

15. College tuition

Colleges charge you for anything and everything they can. Before we know it, the fees are racking up and we are going broke.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

2013
Happy Birthday Cake

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
