We've all been there, just relaxing without a care in the world. There's a blissful sense of freedom to watch Netflix or read a book you've had on your shelf for months. It's all so beautiful to be commitment free and it happens. You realize you messed up some dates in your planner or just forgot that you even owned a planner. No matter how it happens, now you're stuck not knowing where the time went you're flying around trying to get every piece of homework you had neglected done before the due date!

1. It's a weekday evening, you're laying on the couch just snacking and surfing through Netflix when it happens: the sinking feeling that you've got something due.

2. You fly off the couch with mutant like speed to find your syllabus and see it in sickening black ink. In the next 48 hours, you have three papers, two exams and a group project due.

3. You start to curse your professor because HOW DARE THEY ASSIGN SO MUCH WORK?

Don't they know you have other classes and a social life? (Never mind the fact this was assigned a month ago).

4. Then, you set off to do what took others a month in one night.

Prepare the coffee and the tears!

5. Halfway through you're about ready to give up, drop out, and become a stripper.

Who needs a college degree?

6. You decide that you've done so much fantastic (subpar) work that you deserve a break.

7. Finally, as the sun rises your perfect example of procrastination is complete and ready to turn in.

You feel deliriously sleepy and insanely proud of yourself.

8. You promise yourself that you'll keep a better to do list and check your syllabus regularly.

You never want to have to pull an all-nighter like that again.

9. But then...that sinking feeling...again.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
