If you are reading this, you are probably in the same boat I am in. You are stuck &have no idea what you want to do with your life, yet your excited to find out. You kind of want to graduate this very minute start your own life, and yet you do not want to waste your life away.. This is the life of a 19 year old who is in a life crisis.

YOU ARE CONFUSED AS TO WHAT YOU WANT TO DO WITH THE REST OF YOUR LIFE

Event planner? Teacher? Doctor? Vet? WHO KNOWS! All of those things sounded really cool when you were in High School, but now you are in college and it does not seem as cool after all. What are my passions? my dreams? What do I want to be when I grow up? It feels like you will never know the answer to those questions, but eventually we will.

YOU KIND OF WANT LIFE TO START HAPPENING

Obviously life is going on everyday with or without us, but do you sometimes think you want it to just keep going but at a more rapid speed? You want to be done with school, you want to start your ACTUAL job, and you want to have a house with a lot of pets. It feels like you are just stuck where you are; like there is nothing moving you forward.

YOU ALSO WANT LIFE TO SLOW DOWN

As much as you want life to keep going, you also want it to slow down. Things are changing, friends are not the same friends you had before, and you wish you were a senior in High School again, not having a care in the world. You want life to take a chill pill, but you sadly realize that, that can not happen. You miss what used to be and you wished that you appreciated it more when you had the chance.

HAVING PANIC ATTACKS EVERYDAY IS THE NORM

If you are anything like me, you get stressed very easily to the point where panic attacks happen on a daily basis. The pressure is just weighing you down, eventually it builds up and you explode. I hate anxiety attacks but unfortunately they are in my DNA. There is not getting rid of them, but I can help to control them.

YOU ARE LIVING THROUGH THE MOTIONS

As life is happening, you feel as though you are in going through it in a slow speed. You have your daily routine, it is what you stick to, and it can get old very quickly. You start living through the motions instead of LIVING.

YOU DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR APPERANCE

As sad as it is, I have not worn makeup in a very long time. I do not try to look good for school. I literally throw on shorts, a long sleeve tee, and a baseball cap. You are stressed about everything else, that trying to "look good" is the least of your worries.

YOU FEEL BAD FOR THE LOVED ONES AROUND YOU

When you are going through this life crisis, you may tend to distance yourself from the ones that mean the most to you. You do not do it intentionally, but you are so caught up with trying to figure out life, you forget to see who is right there for you. You say sorry a bunch of time to the point where it gets extremely annoying.

ALL YOU WANT TO DO IS SLEEP

Your life can be so hectic to the point where all you want to do is sleep for the rest of your life. It never seems like you get the right amount of sleep, so all you think about is sleeping. I honestly almost fell asleep while writing this article HAHA!

LIFE HAS A FUNNY WAY OF WORKING OUT

Life does work out in the end, so take it one day at a time. You will eventually get out of this mini life crisis and it will be so great. Keep on keepin' on and let the chips fall where they may. You have so much time to figure out where you want to go and what you want to be.

Do not let this mini life crisis stop you from succeeding.

Good luck to all of my fellow mini life crisis peeps :)

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
