Whether you love "Toddlers and Tiaras" or love to hate it, there's no doubt that the kids on it are pretty hilarious. I mean, what's funnier than little divas strutting around a stage while hyped up on soda and candy? Although they're less than half our age, these sassy toddlers definitely understand the life of a typical college student.

1. On the dating scene (or complete lack thereof).

2. On friendships after the first semester.

3. On finding a couple of dollars.

4. On our eating habits.

5. Justifying buying a themed outfit we'll probably only wear once.

6. On how most people see us as millennials (although this is mostly untrue).

7. On what motivates us. Bingo at 8? Yeah no thanks. Bingo and mozzarella sticks? You can bet I’ll be there at 7:45.

8. When the professor assigns a 6 page paper and a test for the same day.

9. When people ask us what we want to do with our life.

10. When the fire alarm gets set off three times in one week.

11. Walking into the wrong classroom.

12. When finals are *finally* over and we get to go home to mom's cooking.

It's officially December. There is less than a month of 2024, and I still feel like yesterday was summer. Now comes the merriest time of the year, the Christmas season.

Everyone has been waiting for this time of year since mid-October (which is way too early, in my opinion) or before. It's a time of love, family, memory-making, and gift-giving. A lot of times when I ask friends and family what they want, I get a lot of "I don't know" or "I don't care."

And since this is my first year out of college being a “real person,” I am totally missing the winter, spring and summer breaks. I am sure all of us have felt this way even if just for a hot minute…

Great Value Colleges

If you go to or went to Kent State, then more than likely you have done or will do some of these things.

1. You’ve slipped and fallen on the ice at least once.

The winters at Kent are brutal, and while the heated sidewalks and some great snow boots are always a help, there’s no chance you won’t bust it on the ice at least once in your four plus years at school.
